Stool - rattan natural - Detjer
We have always loved the designs and buildings of Pierre Jeanneret and Le Corbusier. The exceptional architect Jeanneret has created a timeless masterpiece with his design of the chair series for the administration in Chandigarh. The resulting 'Chandigarh Chairs' are unique in the world of chairs, armchairs and seating.
An icon of midcentury style and design has moved in at DesignWe.Love, because we now have the chair series made of rattan and wood inspired by the Chandigarh style of the late 50s in our range. The retro design is re-produced by Detjer based on the originals by Pierre Jeanneret.
Whether as a solo object or a footrest, this stool is design in perfection. A comfortable piece of seating furniture for everyday use and an it-piece in a timeless and classic design. The mixture of architectural form and Viennese weave makes it a trendsetter in the current furnishing.

Note: The high-quality seating furniture is handcrafted in Jakarta. This creates unique pieces every time. These differ minimally in height and width and are never identical because they are not machine-made. The natural materials are carefully selected.
Wood is a natural product and always works. This happens under the influence of heat, cold, dryness and humidity. Our black items are dyed several times, through drying and use it can happen that the original color of the wood shines through.
Rattan is a strong, flexible, high-quality material with a unique, timeless look. Our rattan products are hand stretched. This gives the braid more tension than machine stretched. These quality advantages lead to optimum seating comfort.
Something that certainly doesn't always happen, but can happen, is that heavily stretched rattan is shaped by the user. Rattan weave is not always completely identical, because there are always small differences in the weave and the exact color scheme. These minute differences are usually negligible and barely visible to the naked eye. However, one should keep this in mind when considering purchasing a rattan product. Of course, none of these aspects have a negative impact on seating comfort, on the contrary.
We recommend the use of cushions for all chairs and benches. Cushions extend the life of rattan and increase comfort.
